Her...

#ÆbleTweet

#ÆbleTweet (in english, #AppleTweet)  is public schools, pupils, apples, housework, cooking, food, smartphones and Twitter – blended together. Sounds like a strange mixture? As for...

Eyetracking at the office

We thought we would give you all a little peek into the technologies we are testing at the moment, so here is another different take on our office: We tested the newest eyetracking glasses from SMI, and we must say the calibration is extremely simple, the responsetime is amazing and best of all they are very mobile. We can’t wait to bring these into live action with our clients.

Start using what is yours

A couple of days ago I stumbled upon one of my older records, John Butler Trio’s Grand National, with the incredible folk tune “Better Than”. The lyrics basically claim that the “the grass is always greener on the other side” mentality is in the human gene pool. This may not be very new or even insightful knowledge but it provoked and reorganized some thoughts I have been having for some time. Even though sometimes forgotten businesses and organization are fundamentally a group of human, so this mantra often goes for business too, and despite how left-wing anti-capitalistic it may...

Monitoring behaviour to influence behaviour

Posted by on Nov 20, 2011 in About, Behavioral engineering, Data management | 0 comments

A friend of mine asked me today (actually it was my alter ego but journalistically quite convenient): “why is it that you are so obsessed with tracking, monitoring and observing behavior in /KL7?” “I’m very glad you asked” I replied. And this is what I said: Look at this picture. Why is this woman crying? (get the answer below…) Trying to understand peoples behavior and design ways to influence it by means of traditional analytics is flawed. You cannot trust what people answer in questionnaires let alone base your strategy on it. Here’s a telling...
