The Danish Road Directorate: Data-based campaigning

Posted by on Oct 6, 2011 in Behavioral engineering, Cases, News | 0 comments

We are in the middle of a quite interesting and ambitious project to test new ways of conducting large scale public campaigns. The Danish Road Directorate has asked /KL7 to design a monitoring strategy for a campaign on road safety. Our job is to create knowledge about and hopefully influence driver behavior in formats that can also act as media content for a range of local media partners. We have brought out the large tool box of in-car cameras, eye-tracking technology, pattern recognition software, apps, positioning, info-graphics and created a multi data-source information and visualisation eco-system across the platforms of media partners and a campaign site. We hope that this grand pilot will help us, The Danish Road Directorate and other public campaigners to learn how to use monitoring, data visualization, and engaging media content to change behavior. Stay tuned as we go live and learn.
